Cloud 9 Wedding Photography

Cloud9 Wedding Photography, Dominic Fletcher is a professional Shropshire wedding photographer based in the beautiful town of Ludlow providing unique, personal photographs for couples looking to capture their day in all of it’s glory. I like to use a mixture of photographic styles throughout the day of your wedding mainly documentary photography, but ensuring attention to all those details, and making the most of the natural lighting we have on the day. I really do enjoy creating images that are unique or even a bit quirky rather than the norm. I’m pretty laid back, with an easygoing nature I try and blend in so I’m unobtrusive capturing the range of emotions that a wedding day brings. This allows me to express my artistic style in creating images that will be cherished for years to come.

Ludlow Brewing Company

Ludlow has a long tradition and history of brewing, but the last brewery in town, the Ludlow and Craven Arms Brewery, shut up shop in the 1930s, that is until now…

It was the dream of Gary and Alison Walters to rekindle this industry in Ludlow and in May 2006 Ludlow Brewing Company’s first mash was started, the rest as they say is history… September 2006 saw the brewery gain its first awards. Their first ale “Ludlow Gold” won the CAMRA Severn Valley Railway beer festival along with the annual beer festival held at the Sun Inn Leintwardine.

Gold was soon followed by The Boiling Well, Best and a Black Knight. Further awards have been picked up including the distinction of becoming CAMRA’s Shropshire Beer of the year in 2008/2009. Their newest ale, Stairway to Paradise, was first brewed in September 2010 with silver in the SIBA for strong bitters 2011.

Deliveries are made to The Bringewood in our own nines (firkins) and eighteens (kilderkins), and we also deliver within a 50-mile radius of Ludlow.

Robinsons of Tenbury Premium Cider

The flavour of Robinsons Tenbury Cider is in a class of its own. What would be the point of any of this if the flavour wasn’t right? Not just right, outstanding? Here is an authentic country cider that has real finesse. Then there’s the colour: the wonderful golden light of an English autumn sparkling in the glass. The stunning, fresh aroma of traditional cider apple varieties. A long, clean aftertaste. You can tell it takes the juice of at least two pounds of apples to make just one bottle of Robinsons Cider.

Apples come from our own orchards and the orchards of our friends and neighbours. Some of these orchards have provided apples for Robinsons Cider for generations. They press it in the autumn and they ferment it over the winter. Then, when the cuckoo comes, we taste it and blend it to produce the final thing. We use traditional bittersweet cider apple varieties: no sprays, no pesticides. Just the soil and the sun and the rain.

In 2006, Robinsons Fine Dry Cider, made on that original press from the Rose and Crown premises was test marketed in Tenbury (Less than Half an hour from The Bringewood near Ludlow)Much of the fruit came from the same orchards that furnished apples for Robinsons classic ciders in the 1940’s and 1950’s. It was a very pleasant surprise to discover that despite a 50 year absence from the market, the Robinsons Tenbury Cider brand was still so strong and so positively held in local memory.
